What information do I need to supply for my design project?

Book Covers:

• Indicate Paperback or Hardcover
• Final Book Size (5.5" × 8.5", 6" × 9", etc.)
• Title, subtitle, and author info
• Final Page Count for spine calculation
• Cover text and blurbs for back cover
• ISBN
• Book Price (if you prefer to have this printed)
• Publisher's information and logo

Print Design:

• Please indicate which type of print design you are requesting (Business Card, Brochure, etc.).
• All text and image content to be included (MS Word Document and 300 dpi images).
• All contact information: Address, phone number, website and email.

How will I receive my electronic files for printing?

An Adobe PDF file will be sent to you for final proofing and then you will be issued a user ID and password to access your files. Kalos Grafx Studios will also mail the files to you via USPS if you prefer.

How and when do I need to pay for my project?

Receipt of payment must be received before the final files can be downloaded. A Paypal invoice will be sent to you for your convenience and security. If you prefer to pay by check, please notify us and we can supply you with our mailing information.

What if I have design ideas already that I would like to share with the designer before the project is started?

We welcome all insights from the client/author! We are committed to servicing your needs and to producing a project that you can be proud of. Please feel free to include any ideas, even examples of books or other materials that you like. This can give us a starting point for your projects overall feel.
